Kiersten Noel was born and raised in St. John's, Newfoundland. She holds Bachelor's degrees from Memorial University in Music Performance and Music Education, as well as a Master's degree in Vocal Performance with a concentration in Music Theatre from New York University.
On stage, some of Kiersten's favorite roles include Fantine in Les Miserables (Atlantic Light Theatre), Betty Haynes in Irving Berlin's White Christmas (Tada Events), Glinda in The Wizard of Oz (Peter MacDonald Productions), and Logainne Schwartzandgrubenierre in Spelling Bee (Best Kind Productions). She has performed as a soloist in Our Divas Do Christmas, Disney's Tale as Old as Time, and An Evening with Andrew Lloyd Weber, and in the cabaret performances Love Who Love, Vicki with a V, Revolting Children, and My Name is Meghan: Songs in the Key of Streisand. Kiersten has performed widely as a choral singer, with such groups as Cornerstone Chorale and Brass (US Tour, Fall 2007), the award-winning acapella sextet Afterglow, and Quintessential Vocal Ensemble, with whom she performed at Carnegie Hall (May 2014).
